Barry Snaith also releases music as TIJ and is one half of electro-goth duo M1NK.
As a boy, his powerpop band,Strangeways, toured with such as The Ramones, Pretenders, and Johnny Thunders He recorded with Chrissie Hynde (the title Brass In Pocket coming from something said by Strangeways in a Yorkshire dressing room) and has been produced by John Leckie & Tommy Ramone. He’s been around.
These particular soundtracks are made for digital VR projects created by the award- winning “Dreaming Methods” team. Dreaming Methods’ immersive stories are used in schools and universities worldwide as well as providing a focus for academic research. They co-developed the first ever digitally-born story to be included in an English-language curriculum. Their most recent artistic VR collaboration ‘Monoliths’ was shortlisted for the London Film Festival immersive XR/Art Award 2022.
